Main Duties:

As the SIN team leader in Guangzhou, you will have geographical responsibility for all Southern China. You will be responsible for engaging with senior government stakeholders, research institutes and companies to develop mutually beneficial co-operation. You will provide policy reports and advice on Chinese science and technology developments including some work related to energy, manufacturing and biotechnology. You will work with partners to identify and develop new UK-China collaboration projects and opportunities. You will organise and take the lead on senior visits, facilitate workshops and events, and have line management responsibilities for two staff members.

Conditioned working hours is 35 hours/week from Monday to Friday.
