A Bridge for Children International (ABC) is an US non-profit organization, with the vision of “Every Child Deserve a Family. Every Child Deserves an Education”. Today, ABC serves underprivileged children in three programmatic areas: CONNECT 牵手 “QianShou” (Foster Home and Placing orphans into families), DREAM 梦想 “MengXiang” , (Education and Life Skills) and TALENT 才“CAI” (Migrant Children Sports and Arts and Teacher Training). ABC’s CONNECT and DREAM programs focus on services for Chinese orphans, whereas the TALENT program empowers underprivileged migrant children through creative arts and sports, and works to improve rural and migrant school classrooms through teacher training. At ABC, we CONNECT the TALENT with the DREAM.

ABC seeks to alleviate the major pressures and challenges that Chinese orphans face on a daily and life-long basis. Since inception in 2007, ABC has finalized the domestic adoptions of 30 orphans, managed four foster homes supporting 27 orphans, provided educational training for 20 older orphans, financially supported over 170 foster homes, and provided teacher training for 171 rural and migrant school teachers. ABC programs have successfully run activities that have impacted children and families in and beyond Beijing to Tianjin, Shanghai, Sichuan earthquake zones, Bishan Township in Chongqing, Taole Township in Ningxia, Qiqihar and Guiyang in China. & c, z/ H* ?!
