Compassion for Migrant Children (CMC) is a nonprofit organization based in China which is dedicated to improving the lives of children of migrant workers by engaging them in social and educational programs. / N* p& M9 [( Z) J4 J- X, R: \' e

This position is responsible for the coordination and management of the Life-Vocational Skills Training (LVS) Program. As the lead CMC staff member in the community, it also involves managing the center to ensure efficient and effective support for the various programs and activities held at the center. It is based within the migrant community at the appointed CMC Community Center each weekday.

LVS Responsibilities
# n' G' z) F, ]$ P7 X Program Development, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation & Z7 t; |, J# R
Plan, organize, implement and manage the LVS program / _6 F" t: n. R1 p$ g3 R
Be responsible for ensuring LVS program meeting its quarterly and annual target goals 8 v7 M* S% x9 R" m. v0 X
Ensure the proper monitoring and evaluation of the LVS program
5 A* Y+ l7 M8 j# t$ Q Create and manage a class schedule that balances and emphasizes both life skills and vocational training
& l8 n0 ~$ Q1 a# E p/ ^" Q Ensure that each class is meeting targeted goals and continue to seek ways to improve the quality of each class
6 x$ @& a3 ~0 | Develop partnerships for organizations and companies to provide instructors and speakers to stimulate and inspire LVS trainees : p# c2 S4 ?$ O! W" a+ h- P
Manage and recruit volunteers 2 }$ Q( r# W: e$ p7 w
Research and seek out new pools of migrant youth for LVS recruiting
6 S1 s! Q$ K5 s" w7 r' f- P2 U: | Recruit trainees, including interviewing and evaluating potential trainers/trainees, overseeing trainee enrollment and orientation , q. r7 K$ `- Q6 q
Mentor trainees to help them achieve their goals in practically engaging life
8 q* q5 m) v4 s2 U7 b& q Liaise with the Regional Program Manager to address needs and challenges that arise

Familiarize self with CMC financial guidelines

Gather and prepare LVS-related information for promotional use

Research and Development

Be an active member of the community center team and participate in community center development and activities, including community celebrations, home visits, 4 h: q- _8 @: J& Z- H* E# A
Ensure the smooth operation of the community center with special focus on the LVS facility 7 s) r$ T3 o1 I- [8 j0 d- B
To ensure that all aspects of the Center Operation Procedures are fully implemented

Be fully familiar with all property appliances and service contracts
( H$ @: y# g3 V$ m) Y Coordinate and cooperate with Logistics Manager to fulfill all purchasing, servicing, and updating of the LVS facilities

Qualifications
