Right To Play China is a global leader in developing and delivering play-based child development programs that foster the healthy physical, social and emotional development of children. Our programs also focus on life skills that will empower poverty-affected children and children in difficult situations to participate in their own development, rights and protection. Right To Play China promotes children’s increased access to quality basic care and developmental services.

Right To Play’s Technical Support Unit would like to develop a resource to promote kindergarten teacher knowledge on health and safety of young children (under age 6).

Purpose of Assignment:

To develop/write a clear and easy to understand early child health and safety manual.

Duration: Approximately 3 months January-March 2012.

Minimum Education Level:

•      Post-secondary degree in ECCD.

Desired Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

•      Strong ECCD background, particularly related to health and safety

•      Strong writing skills

•      Experience developing resources

Desired Personal Attributes:

Language Skills:      Speaking, reading and writing fluency in Mandarin is required;  Speaking, reading and writing Fluency in English is an asset

Compensation: Commensurate with experience
